To be what we are, and to become what we are capable of becoming is the only end of life.

Robert Louis Stevenson

We are located in Sydney's Inner West, and believe that good psychotherapy is a process of unfolding, which occurs within a supportive, sustained and creative relationship.

Lisa Schouw (BCHC, MCAPA) is a qualifed psychotherapist and counsellor who believes in the uniqueness of each individual. She is committed to providing a space where her clients can explore their strengths, fears, hopes, challenges and aspirations.

Lisa works with individuals, couples and groups, utilising therapeutic practices, such as person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, existential therapy, and narrative therapy, as well as using the creative arts.

"Therapy is not a cure for life, but rather a process in which we learn to know ourselves better. It can provide us with tools to change or soften those aspects of ourselves that undermine our ability to work, love and live rewarding lives."
